My name is Abhinand Raju. I am from Kerala , India. I did my schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tripunithura. I am pursuing B Tech in civil engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). My hobbies are singing, current affairs, watching movies. I have participated in various interschool music events. I am an ardent fan of cricket. My dream is to pursue masters in civil engineering and I would also like to pursue MBA and start a business related to civil engineering field preferably. I also like to learn new things . I am a person who is fully committed to whatever work I do and I don't leave it in the middle. I am a team player and I am a good leader as well. I love to make friendships and maintain it . Its one of my dream to write and direct a movie. I have attended a film workshop which will help me in that. I am also believe that there no shortcuts to success and we have to work hard to achieve it.

What was your role?

Right now I just started working in Unadat. At present I am working on a project that analyses the Indian market which will help Unadat to widen its range to India as well.

What was the impact of your project?

The impact of our project will be in such a way that a lot of businesses and costumers in India can begin to manage their finances better. They can plan their goals better. They can escape from the debt trap, they can learn to use credit card in such a way that it yields them benefits rather than debt. By managing their finances they can achieve their goals like buying a house, buying a car, etc...

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

From my teammates i have learned that we should try to communicate with them how much ever we can so that we can sort out our issues and we should always keep our teammates constantly updated so that they can give their points and comments on it if they feel there is something which can be improved. All of us have different views. So it will make the project cover different angles.

What skills have you gained?

The new skills that I picked up are time management, teamwork, the habit of updating my teammates regularly about my work, workload management, communication skills.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

the biggest roadblock I`ve overcome is that I didn`t used to open up to people. But after joining Unadat I learned that a lot of issues can be discussed and solved if we open up or tell what we have on our mind. It also helps the team to get different views and ideas on a topic.

How has company culture guided your work?

The company culture is such that it helps us to clear all roadblocks ahead of us by working along with us. This culture has so far helped me in going ahead with my work. The company also encourages research . So it will be beneficial for us in the future.

What was your experience at Unadat?

My experience at Unadat is short as of now. But from what i have experienced, Unadat is a great company which gives importance to the workers and does not pressurize them to finish works. They are very friendly and they give me tips on how i can work better since I am new to this job.

What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?

We just started the internship. So we haven`t worked on a big project yet. But i think the part where the company will be able to generate income from Indian market will be quite a big project.

What advice would you give to future interns?

My advice to the next crop of interns is to be fully committed to whatever work you do. They should also discuss with the team if they disagree to a point and find a viable solution. This will make the project better. They should also complete their work on time. If they have any issues that would make them unavailable, they should discuss among themselves and come up with a solution.
