I am a recent graduate of John Jay College, where I received my degree in Law and Society with a minor in Human Rights. Throughout my time in college, I developed a passion for justice and a desire to use my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the world. As I learned about the law and the ways in which it shapes society, I became increasingly interested in the field of law and decided to pursue a career as a lawyer. I believe that the law has the power to bring about change and to protect the rights and interests of individuals, and I want to use my education and experience to make a difference in the lives of others. I am excited to begin this new chapter in my journey and to see where my passion for the law will take me.


What was your role?

I was part of a risk assessment evaluation team with Rebecca. Through this experience, I gained valuable skills and knowledge in evaluating and analyzing potential risks and how to address them effectively.

What was the impact of your project?
As a UNADAT intern, I had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company. Through my work on various cases and projects, I was able to help mitigate risks and provide valuable insights and perspectives that helped to inform the decisions of leading team members. One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was the opportunity to share my ideas and perspectives with others and to see how they were received and implemented. I found that my contributions were valued and that my input helped to shape the direction of the team`s work. Overall, my experience as a UNADAT intern was an incredibly rewarding and enriching one, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the company and its clients.
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
During my internship at UNADAT, I had the pleasure of working with a team member named Rebecca. I learned a great deal about Rebecca during our time together, and I found her to be an invaluable member of the team. She was always willing to help and offer her support, and she was a great resource for answering questions and offering guidance. Rebecca was an excellent team player and was always willing to collaborate and share her knowledge and expertise with others. She was also a great listener and was always open to hearing different perspectives and ideas. Overall, Rebecca was a valuable member of the team, and I learned a lot from working with her.
What skills have you gained?
During my internship at UNADAT, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and cases that required me to think critically and analytically about complex financial issues. Through this experience, I`ve developed strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. I also gained a broad understanding of the various legal and financial strategies that can be used to help people resolve their debt issues. Overall, my internship at UNADAT was a valuable learning experience that provided me with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in my future career.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
One of the main challenges I faced during my internship at UNADAT was finding relevant facts that contributed to solving the questions that were asked of me. As I worked on various issues, I often encountered complex legal issues that required me to dig deep and do extensive research in order to find the answers I needed. At times, this process was frustrating and challenging, as I struggled to find the information I needed in a sea of seemingly unrelated data. However, I persevered and used my analytical thinking skills to sift through the information and identify the key facts that were relevant to the issues at hand. Through this process, I learned the importance of persistence and the value of using my critical thinking skills to break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable pieces. I also gained confidence in my ability to research and analyze complex issues, which will be an invaluable skill as I pursue my future career. Overall, this roadblock proved to be a valuable learning experience that helped me to develop and hone my analytical thinking skills.
How has company culture guided your work?
During my internship at UNADAT, I was fortunate to be part of a team that had a positive and supportive work culture. My team were always willing to help and answer any questions I had, and they provided me with a great deal of guidance and support as I learned the ropes. I also had the opportunity to work with Sean & Dan who were incredibly knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise with me. Overall, my experience at UNADAT was incredibly positive and rewarding, thanks in large part to the healthy work culture and the guidance and support of my team. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a great organization and to have learned so much from everyone.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
As an intern at UNADAT, I had the opportunity to work on a project that involved researching multiple big corporations and the lawsuits that had been filed against them. The goal of this project was to understand how these companies had overcome these legal issues by including certain legal structures in their terms of use. To complete this project, I had to conduct extensive legal research, using a variety of tools and resources to find relevant information about the lawsuits and the legal structures that had been put in place to address them. I also had to use my analytical and critical thinking skills to break down the complex legal issues and understand how these structures had helped to mitigate the risks faced by the companies. Overall, this project was a challenging but rewarding experience that allowed me to deepen my understanding of the legal profession and to develop valuable skills in research and analysis. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work on such an interesting and informative project, and I believe that the knowledge and skills I gained during this experience will be valuable assets in my future career.
What advice would you give to future interns?
Take advantage of the opportunity to learn as much as you can from your team. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and they can provide valuable guidance and support as you navigate your internship. Be proactive and ask questions when you have them. Don`t be afraid to seek out additional information or clarification when you need it. Stay organized and keep track of your work. This will help you stay on top of your tasks and ensure that you are making progress on your projects. Communicate clearly and effectively with your team. Good communication is key to success in any job, and it will be especially important in your internship at UNADAT. Stay positive and focused, even when faced with challenges. Your internship will likely present you with a number of roadblocks and obstacles, but with determination and a positive attitude, you can overcome them and learn valuable lessons along the way.
