What was your role?

I am part of the Design Team for the intern’s page team. My team designs the intern’s page on the Unadat website.

What did you work on?

I worked on the 6 value propositions for the intern page and now I'm working on the individual intern page, which will include more personal info about the interns.

What was the impact of your project?
The impact that I'm hoping to have from my project is to gain the interest of people who may be interested in doing an internship at Unadat. And to answer some questions that they may have before joining by reading the FAQs on the website.
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I learned to do computer things which I never knew before. I was always more of a writer than a typer, even now, so having to type everything out has definitely made me a faster typer. Also, being around so many talented people, who know how to code and design, etc, has taught me a lot as well. I also learned how to communicate with other people, listen to their ideas, work with them in a team setting, etc. I also am not much of a talker (still not) but being part of a group/team has really made me have to talk, which I enjoy.
What skills have you gained?

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
One of the biggest roadblocks was getting answers to the surveys my teammate and I created. There were multiple times where we didn’t get full sentence answers or when we got duplicate answers for multiple questions. Reaching out to each person and needing to get answers again was definitely a roadblock, since that delayed us from moving on to the next step.
How has company culture guided your work?
I've learned a lot. I learned to do computer things which I never knew before. I was always more of a writer than a typer, even now, so having to type everything out has definitely made me a faster typer. What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
I worked on the 6 value propositions for the intern page and now I'm working on the individual intern page, which will include more personal info about the interns. My teammate and I had to research other companies' intern pages to get some ideas for our 6 prepositions. We then had to choose 6 out of many many many options that we had. We then had to create 2-3 sentences worth of information for each preposition.
What advice would you give to future interns?
ASK QUESTIONS!! Work together, make friends, TALK, ask for clarity. Don't be shy pleaseee. I was always so shy but asking questions really helped me. Making friends in your team, even not in your team, is really beneficial.
