Hello, I'm Isabel and I enjoy design and doing projects that really allow my creativity flow. My top priority goal right now is to work as a UI designer at a company that promotes employee happiness above all and supports their well-being. I would also enjoy a job that supports my lifestyle as during my free time I really enjoy traveling, hiking, going out to eat, shopping, and spending time with my loved ones. I also have a love and fascination for animals, nature, and the spiritual world.

I worked on researching and designing the layout for the chores functionality on the supporters page

What was the impact of your project?

The impact of my project is to introduce the chores functionality to the website and figure out how to implement the design to show parent-child relationship.

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

I learned about professionalism, patience, getting feedback, and preparing work to present.

What skills have you gained?

I picked up on skills like professionalism, communication, teamwork, collaborative effort, being able to present, and giving feedback where it is needed.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

The biggest roadblock I’ve overcome was moving from adobe xd to sketches. As this was something hard for me to transition to I appreciate the feedback and opportunity to show rough sketches.

How has company culture guided your work?

It guided my work by giving me experience about what the company is trying to achieve and how to get that result being looked for with help from the team.

What was your experience at Unadat?

I had an overall good experience at Unadat. I really liked my team and felt as though we had good compatibility as we were able to communicate well and get a lot of work done. The presentations at the end of the week were really helpful as it let us know whether or not we were on track with what we were doing. Feedback throughout the week was also given and help was also readily available in case we needed it. I really appreciate this opportunity that allowed me to be a UX/UI designer in a professional environment as I now I also have relevant experience to the career.

What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?

One project I worked on was creating cards for long term goals, daily chores, and weekly chores. I created this by various feedback by how it should be implemented and now will work on the chores functionality and integrating it onto the supporters page.
