What was your role?

At Unadat, I created promotional videos showcasing the Unadat website and overall company. I collaborated with my team in coming up with concepts and producing the videos.

What did you work on?

Social Media videos to promote Unadat as a company and gain more revenue for the site.

What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I definitely learned how to problem solve as a team when it came to overcoming roadblocks on our project. Also, working together creatively has helped my creative skills, and I have more experience with listening to critiques and feedback on my work, as well as providing it.
What skills have you gained?
During the Unadat internship, I have learned many technical and personal skills. A big part of this internship was creativity, which is something I’ve been wanting to work on. The process was pretty open-ended and encouraged thinking outside the box. Collaboration was also a big part of the internship. As a team, we had to brainstorm, edit, revise, problem solve, and present together. Time management played a big role in making sure I was on track with my work. Technically, I utilized editing tools such as Adobe Premier, Photoshop, and AI image creation.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
The biggest roadblock I had to overcome was the unpredictability of AI. It’s very hard to get a cohesive set of images solely from AI, which is mainly what we were relying on throughout the entire internship. Maybe implementing someone like a graphic artist or brand designer to the Unadat team would help the marketing process.
How has company culture guided your work?
The weekly check ins and laid back nature compared to a larger, Manhattan office company made it comfortable to work with others and supervisors.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
What advice would you give to future interns?
My advice would be- don’t overestimate the length of the internship, it flies by. Be prepared to think creatively, and don’t be afraid to try any idea.
