Rhea Augustine is a Junior who is enthusiastic about learning while sharing her knowledge with others. She was an accounting major, partaking in the accounting club at CSI before realizing that her true passion was in tech. She is now a transfer student pursuing her Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems. Throughout her college career, she was simultaneously working as the caregiver of a patient with Down syndrome, a job which allowed her to attain essential skills such as organizational skills, keen attention to detail and time management. Skills which she wishes to use to give back to her community at Medgar Evers College.

What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I learned how to find where I fit within different teams and how we can all work together to reach one goal. Every task is important and essential to the finished product. Everyone was patient and understanding.What skills have you gained?
Multi tasking, time management and team work.What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
Fulfilling tasks on time. I had to understand that there are other students facing the same challenges as I am and they get their work done on time. I didn’t want to prolong our progress.How has company culture guided your work?
The culture allowed me to be more creative. I never felt like my options were limited and it there was a standard that I needed to stick to. This allowed me to challenge myself through trial and error.What was your experience at Unadat?

What advice would you give to future interns?
My advice is to be communicative. That is something I could have done more. Every intern has some knowledge to share. Make friends and keep in touch throughout. Who knows, you might make life long friendships!Get to know me
