Hello! My name is Melissa and I am currently an Economics and Psychology major at The City College of New York. My personal interests include painting, attempting to make foods from various cultures, running, journaling, watching movies, and visiting museums. I enjoy visiting museums and exploring multiple forms of art because it allows me to connect with others of various cultures and backgrounds. My goal is to be able to have my own business one day!

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I learned a lot about what strategies and algorithms influence views on Instagram and LinkedIn.What skills have you gained?
During the Unadat internship, I was able to improve my creativity and design skills to help create Instagram stories. If I were to compare my first week of Instagram stories to the last week, I would say there is a large difference between them. I also learned how to communicate and collaborate with the other interns on ideas.What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
How has company culture guided your work?
Working at a company where there was a flat structure made me feel as if everyone and their ideas were valued. This made me feel more comfortable and confident in the work I did and less hesitant to share my ideas.What was your experience at Unadat?

What advice would you give to future interns?
Do not limit yourself to one role! Try different roles because it is not often companies will allow you to change positions in a large corporate setting. If you do this, you really get to gain a feel of your skills and might even surprise yourself with what areas you excel at in comparison to others.Get to know me
