What was your role?

Created the landing pages for Unadat partners, created IGS pages for those partners.

What did you work on?

Landing Page & IGS Partner Page

What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
My teammates were absolutely wonderful to work with. The PMs, Yana and William, were very kind and accommodating and helped me out a bunch when I needed help. The Bizdev team created wonderful UI elements and was very easy to communicate to. The other members of the CS team were very helpful as well, helping me out when I didnt know how to do something while also teaching me how to do them.
What skills have you gained?
I learned how to code in HTML and Javascript and code working UI elements into a webpage. I also learned more about teamwork and how it feels like to work in a team while simultaneously working independently on my own assignments. Another thing I learned more about is communication, and how important it is to keep things brief, or explain further when needed.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
The biggest roadblock Ive overcome came from the first week. I felt very nervous as I was shaky in my HTML skills, and I was going to be working with people Ive never met before. I remember during the introductions I skipped over words with how nervous I was and was afraid I made myself look like a fool. However, I overcame this roadblock by becoming more comfortable with everyone, and talking with the other members more and being more friendly. Creating those bonds made my work less scary and more fun.
How has company culture guided your work?
The company culture helped me to stay focused while also learning new things. I was able to offer my own ideas on how certain parts of the page should look like, and actually implement them onto the website.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
What advice would you give to future interns?
Always give it your best shot, and if you dont know how to do something, ask someone for help and make sure you internalize whatever tip they gave you.
