What was your role?

I was the Project Manager and Point of Contact for the Design Team.I kept track of their objectives and kept the team on track.

What did you work on?

Projects I've worked on are the Signup Tutorial (60/40, 70/30 and, 80/20), Unadat Landing Pages, Unadat Pitch Deck for Employers, Interns Landing Page (Peoples Growth Section), and Mortgage Button Front-End.

What was the impact of your project?
The impact of my project was to provide a Pitch Deck for Unadat to use to target employers to invest into Unadat and to use Unadat as an outsmarting debt platform for their employees.
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
During this internship I have learned how to manage a team of interns and I've improved in communication skills and managing techniques like splitting the groups, updating the groups on what to do and explaining our project's timeline and goals. Some of the new skills I've picked up are communication skills, clarification skills, skills in getting the point across, skills in working as a team to produce a project/product, observing skills and management skills. I’ve also learned from my teammates to learn everyone's disabilities and problems outside of work that can affect their progress and work. I learned that not everyone has a great internet connection and cannot always join every single meeting. Problems outside of work can be a big issue and learning to fix those mistakes is also a learning curve for me.
What skills have you gained?
Some of the new skills I`ve picked up are communication skills, clarification skills, skills in getting the point across, skills in working as a team to produce a project/product, observing skills and management skills.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
My biggest roadblock was getting everyone on track and making sure they know what to do. Having everyone on time and ready to work. There was no major roadblock.
How has company culture guided your work?
The company culture guided my work by being flexible to what we do to accomplish our project. We apply feedback even though your team may disagree. Just disagree and commit. Just try out what the other person offers as it may create a good or even greater outcome. Supporting other teammates' ideas really guides what we do in the Design Team. Everyone's ideas come together and try not to shut out good ideas.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
One big project I've worked on during the internship is currently the Pitch Deck for Employers. The process of the Pitch Deck for Employers had to be really focused on Employers benefits rather than say investors. We made a pitch deck that explains Unadat to Employers about the benefits of using the https://unadat.com/deck along with other pitch decks to combine into a newer and updated pitch deck. We had to change the problems, solutions, and company to better suit an employer's point of view.
What advice would you give to future interns?
My advice to the incoming interns is to stay organized, stay focused on what feedback Sean and Dan gives. Embrace the learning curve and you will definitely learn a lot. Be respectful to your team and make sure you ask questions if you are confused or need any help.
