I was born in Ankara, Turkey where I went to school until the sophomore year of high school. After that, I moved to Spain to complete my high school education with a dream of going to college in the United States. That dream came true when I got my acceptance letter from Baruch College in New York City.

I worked as a Research and Social Media Intern.

Calendar Integration, Supporter Milestones Display & Optimization, Task Automation, Individual Goal Visualization

What was the impact of your project?

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

I definitely learned the importance of effective communication with the people who I worked with. Through the Discord server, I could easily get in touch with the team and get any updates and feedback on what I have to do.

What skills have you gained?

I learned how to effectively communicate, to work as a team, to use and analyze different social media platforms for creating unique content.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

I didn’t really have any big roadblocks but I would say I learned how to manage my time better when I had lots of schoolwork to do besides my internship work.

How has company culture guided your work?

What I learned from the Unadat orientation was so helpful for me to learn more about the company culture and the values so I would say these type of informative meetings and feedback were very important for me to get my work done.

What advice would you give to future interns?

Try to enjoy as much as you can. Do not be scared of making mistakes because we all learn from the mistakes that we make. Be grateful to be a part of this wonderful team.
