Education Level:

Career Interest: Full Stack Developer

By the end of this semester, I am looking forward to completing my degree in the Computer Systems major with the specific concentration on software development. I was born in the United States with Ecuadorian ancestry and am willing to contribute my special point of view to my educational journey. I came to study this field cause of my interest in games that since then evolved to my curiosity about technology and programming. This way, I have moved towards the right direction to achieve my career goal as a soft developer.

What was your role?

I did a lot of front end work at Unadat.

What did you work on?

What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
What Ive learned from my teammates is their shared commitment to learning and continuous improvement. Witnessing their dedication inspires me to give my absolute best effort in every project. Even during moments of confusion, their willingness to assist me helps clarify my understanding and fosters my development. Together, we create an environment where mutual support and growth thrive.
What skills have you gained?
During my time at Unadat, I acquired new skills in PHP, Git, and Google Shell, all of which were unfamiliar to me previously. Learning these tools during the internship greatly aided my project work. Given that PHP is not as commonly encountered, mastering it promises significant benefits for my career advancement.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
Overcoming the milestone button challenge involved late-night sessions deciphering my teammates code and making adjustments. I found that my brain functions more productively during nighttime hours. By persevering through this obstacle, I successfully made the button interactive and displayed the milestone names as required.
How has company culture guided your work?
The company culture guided my work, providing me with new experiences. I worked with my teammates on projects during the times that suited us the best.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
What advice would you give to future interns?
My advice for the next group of interns is to not hesitate to ask for help, as most people are willing to assist you in understanding. Nine times out of ten, seeking assistance will lead to clarity and growth in your skills. Embracing a mindset of openness and receptiveness to guidance can greatly enhance your learning experience.
