I am a first-generation college student. I attend Queens College as a double major in Accounting and English. I also work at my college as a college assistant at our Writing Center. I am a senior looking into getting my CPA license. I enjoy reading and writing essays that allow me to analyze my ideas and I also love discussion!

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

I learned how to communicate. I had a hard time expressing my thoughts well but since we had teams discussions weekly, I picked up on the different ways my team has communicated and implimented that into my own discussions

What skills have you gained?

During my Unadat Internship, I learned how to manage linear, the importance of status confirmation, how to work better with teammates, and how to use AI to generate images/videos.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

I think working on my own was my biggest roadblock. I am open to group work and I am capable of working by myself efficiently, but there were times where I was constantly doubting myself as if I am doing something correctly. I overcame this by becoming my own group member in a way. I had to constantly adjust my questions in order to look at my work from a different perspective and it worked out for me.

How has company culture guided your work?

I think the company culture of being a kind of casual environment had allowed me to work without pressure. I did not feel a pressure to be perfect and allowed me to have room to grow as well.
