What was your role?

Worked with my peers to analyze ways students can improve their chances of paying off their student loans, way’s people avoid foreclosure and as well as what to expect as an asset manager.

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

I learned how to reach out when help is needed. There was times I wasn’t able to do what I was suppose to do but I reached out to my peers, and they had no issues helping me. Also, I learned how to take every assignment and task, more serious than the last because the more you do everytime, the better your work ethic becomes.

What skills have you gained?

I have learned how to write more professionally and just basically communicate more. I wasn’t to good of a communicator but as the internship went on, I just had to let my peers knows about any roadblocks that I had faced, in case I wasn’t able to do what was expected of me.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

I am not a morning person. At the fact that during the summer I had to wake up early and do work, was not something I was expecting my self to be doing. However, when you’re having fun doing something, it is not called work, it’s just called fun, and I genuinely had no issues waking up early because I was going to be working with my team, and there’s nothing better than that.

How has company culture guided your work?

It was been very helpful as far as making sure I get my work done in time. No one wants to let their team down and this whole internship, was depending on one another, so basically everyone had to do their part and communicate.
