What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I`ve had several collaborations with others that have taught me new skills. I worked closely with Ryan J during the semester, who inspired me to learn Figma to better present my ideas. I also worked with Shouhan who helped provide me with a new direction for the Financial Wellness Score Dashboard.What skills have you gained?
My experience at Unadat has provided exposure to new software. We used Asana to keep track of tasks and roadblocks during the week. To prototype UI concepts, I previously used a photo editing software. Other interns in my group recommended Figma, a software specifically designed to create UIs. I also took the steps to improve my organizational skills with this internship. I had organized notes and checklists of tasks I needed to complete; whether they were for Unadat work related tasks or following up on CUNY Career Launch requirements.What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
The biggest roadblock my team and I had to overcome was communication. Initially, everyone was shy and did not communicate as much as we should have. Communication improved during the semester with the addition of scheduled daily huddles from product managers.How has company culture guided your work?
I remind myself to keep the user`s pain and situation in mind. With this comes ideas to improve the product for the user.What was your experience at Unadat?
