What was your role?

I gave insight on different milestones and steps that could be incorporated in the goal store for topics such as mortgage and creating a website and created a blog for small business.

What was the impact of your project?

What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?

I have learned a multitude of things from each of my teammates. One of which was that it is okay to ask for help from one another as we were all there to help each other. Another was that communication is extremely important and it can be burdensome when others fail to come straight out when there are issues.

What skills have you gained?

I have learned to create small talk a slight bit better, improved my research skills, improved my ability to work with others, and lastly, improved my skills with google docs as it was never a site I used very often.

What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?

One was dealing with a partner that wouldn`t communicate or participate much with my group for one of our tasks. we tried reaching out in a group chat and it unfortunately didn`t work as well as we could have hoped. We didn`t really overcome it as well as we could have as we fell somewhat short in terms of our task and what was expected, however we were able to get the task completed.

How has company culture guided your work?

It guided me to be better formulated with working with others as I truly disliked it originally. Also, the culture helped me to rely on not only my partners but the people within my entire team, so I was better equipped when it came to completing and truly understanding the tasks assigned.

What advice would you give to future interns?

Get to know your team and become friendly with each of them as they`re probably just as wonderful as you are. You got this and don`t worry about not having as much experience because you can always learn!
