What was your role?

What did you work on?

What was the impact of your project?
What did you learn or improve on from this internship or from your teammates?
I have learned how to more effectively communicate and collaborate with people from multiple teams and how this leads to better problem solving. Furthermore, their proactive attitude has shown me how important it is for everyone to take responsibility, which leads to more efficient workflow and better results. Lastly, everyone`s willingness to share what they already know helps me to learn and develop myself.
What skills have you gained?
New skills I have picked up includes working with new tools such as Asana and Figma. Asana helped with providing a sense of direction and unity for the team as we know what our tasks is and what we are aiming for. Figma on the other hand allowed my teammates and I to more easily collaborate on our design ideas, which helped to improve our work and results.
What was the biggest roadblock you've overcome?
The biggest roadblock that my team came across was probably in week 2 where a lack of communication between us led to me working on a task that I was not able to complete due to lack of information and time. As a result, we were behind schedule for the sprint and lost valuable time. We overcame this roadblock by creating a discord server for the design team, which helped us strengthen our communication, which let us overcome this roadblock as our team didn`t struggle as much with communication for the rest of the internship.
How has company culture guided your work?
The company culture has helped with improving the communication between my teammate and I to improve how we collaborate. This allowed my team to trust on another and make our relationship stronger.
What was your experience at Unadat?
What was one big project you worked on during the internship? Can you walk me through the process?
What advice would you give to future interns?
My advice to the next crop of interns would be to always communicate with your supervisors and teammates. Without communicating your ideas, questions, and issues, many problems can arise, which leads to time being wasted that could be used on tasks.
